My room mate's just showed me some parts to buy for a new computer (Sick of using this ancient laptop) I want it manly for gaming really, but i'm looking forward to Battlefield 3 and wondered if these parts would allow me to run it? And if so, at what level? (Low, Med, High)?

You are much better off dropping that down to a higher clocked X4 such as the 955/965 BE and getting a Nvidia 560 GTX Ti card instead
The AMD 6 core processors are a poor choice for gamingWill this run Battlefield 3?
It looks like it'd work, but drop down to an X4 and get a a 550 Ti or a GTX560 minimum.
