Any decent RTS or FPS games that my system can handle?

yeah so I have:

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) NOTE: in SP3

Processor: Intel (R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @1.60GHz (2CPUs)

Video Card: Intel (R) GMA 950 NOTE: with DirectX 9.0c

Sound Card: NOT SURE

RAM available: 1,013 MB of RAM

HDD available: somewhere around 55GB

Please specify the HDD requirement

yeah.. why so low? im running on laptop.. anyway please don't give me lectures that XP home ain't for gaming.. don't lecture me that laptops ain't for gaming.. please.. haha.. if i had the money to I'd get a better device but i dont so..

CnC 3 works on my current setup, but after 2 mins of a skirmish game it crashes and error reports and what not, and i cant start a campaign at all.. the only thing that works is training XD so please help

i already tried blitzkrieg 2 (works, removed it) Battlefield 1942 (works, removed) Battlefield Vietnam (works) CoD 1 + United Offensive (works awesomely) Red Alert 2, (works, removed) BFME 2 (works, removed) CnC Generals (works sluggishly, removed) As you can see i removed some but still have the CDs and i wont be an idiot and install a whole lot of games

Also if you have any suggestions on how I can improve my system (eg. better drivers, is it possible to increase my processor) I'd appreciate that =) thanksAny decent RTS or FPS games that my system can handle?
Alright, some good games I know of are ; dofus, halo, minecraft etc.

How you could improve your system, well try deleting everything. And then restoring what you need.Any decent RTS or FPS games that my system can handle?
An old(ish) FPS game. Nosferatu. Will run brill on you're system and it's a quite scary, with a grainy effect playstyle.Any decent RTS or FPS games that my system can handle?
Your specs are all great except for your processor.

I assume because you have GMA you're using an integrated chip-set though, which is a complete skullf*ck to upgrade - you might be better off selling your current rig and using the money to subsidize a new one.

CnC 3 was notorously buggy on the initial patches though, check to see if there are any fan-made patches or bugfixes available on the internet.
