Laptop processor speed question?

I've been looking at laptops lately. I want to get one for college, but i will want to play games on it.



I want to know if a 1.5-2.0ghz dual core processor will handle games like battlefield 2 and half life 2.Laptop processor speed question?
You should be warned that a lot of the time, laptop bottlenecks will be GPUs (graphics cards). If you have integrated memory or something, then you'll have trouble running anything.



That being said, Half-Life 2 you should be able to handle if you turn everything visual low or off (reflections, etc.) and you have a decent graphics card.



I can't say anything about Battlefield, though.



You'll want to get 2.0GHz, because 1.5 is honestly quite slow for today's games.
