Battlefield 2142 - Northern Strike - Can't unlock upgrades?

I recently changed computers and installed 2142 and Northern Strike (downloaded from EA store). When I got promoted, it brought me to the unlocks screen and I noticed that some of the NS unlocks that I already had was blacked out and I could not unlock any of the Northern Strike materials.



Is there anything I should do? I can play on Northern Strike servers and in the BFHQ page, the unlock button is not there. I have the latest patch (1.5 I think - that also gave me bugs (crashed whenever I clicked on awards))



Also do you think they will be releasing another patch to fix this? I remembered how they left Battlefield 2 with a lot of bugs.Battlefield 2142 - Northern Strike - Can't unlock upgrades?
It's a weird conflict that only affects certain people.

First you should backup your copy of Northern Strike if you can: http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battl鈥?/a>

And then:

1. Uninstall BF2142 http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/php鈥?/a>

2. Install BF2142

3. Patch with 1.40 http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/patches鈥?/a>

4. Install NS

5. Patch with 1.40 again

6. Patch with 1.50 incremental or 1.50 full http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/patches鈥?/a>



That should fix the BFHQ crash and the NS unlocks bug, and also stop any unmodified content errors.

You need to be logged in to windows as administrator to do this, and both files should not be run from the pb folder.
