With all the new games that have recently come out and are coming out in the next few weeks I just wanted to get some peoples opinions on what to buy and what to wait to buy. Here are the games in question:1. Mass Effect 2, Haven't played the first or second but looks pretty fun, 2. Bioshock 2, I am currently playing the first Bioshock and enjoying it. The idea of playing as big daddy in the 2nd seems cool. 3. Dante's Inferno seems like a different type of game for than usual for the 360 looks pretty awesome imo but don't know alot about it. 4. Battlefield Bad Company 2 Haven't played the first and obviously haven't played the second since its not out yet. I have played some of the real old WWII Battlefield games and am still actively playing Mw2. 5. Lastly Final Fantasy 13...never played any of them but they look like they could be alot of fun..idk? It would be cool if you could rank these 1-5 ,1 being the one I should buy first 5 being the one to definitely wait on...or if you could supply any information about these games thanks in advance...sorry for the long post but oh well grats if you read it all.Which Xbox 360 games would you recommend out of these?
The final fantasy games are my favorite RPGs. They are all really fun great games. I can't wait to get the new one because it looks like it is going to be really good. I love all the final fantasys. I think you should get it because they are all so good. I'm sure you will love it.Which Xbox 360 games would you recommend out of these?

Will This Run Games?
AMD Athlon XP 2200 @ 1.80 ghz
512MB RAM
Onboard Gfx Card
after i upgrade the above pc to the bottom 1... will i be able to run games like battlefield 2,fear etc on high?
Upgrading :
AMD Athlon XP 2200 @ 1.80 ghz
1.5 GB RAM
Nvidia 6800 UltraWill This Run Games?
Not with your onboard gfx card no. Get a new video card and you'll be fine. I would personally get a better gfx card though. 6800 ultra is getting out of date.
it should with a little more ram you put and you got nvidea, aswesome! Will This Run Games?
With that computer you will be able to run those games probably on medium. Fear especially may have trouble on high.
You will be good with the new system. NEVER try and play games with integrated video cards.....it will be like a geriatric eating a steak. You will be there all day and it will never finish!! LOLWill This Run Games?
Yes and No...
Yes, you will be able to run them...
But no, you will not be able to run them on high resolution..
Your video card is too weak to render high resolution textures like what FEAR has...
Get the 6800 Ultra card and max out the RAM, you should be fine.
yea, it'll probably run but you wont get the most out of the game though
simple answer ......no
Upgrading the video card will help. It would be an even bigger boost if your upgrade the CPU also.
Nvidia 6800 Ultra and all that RAM will rock all your games :-) ..Happy gaming !
your computer is a good enough to run some games
but not all games
try to upgrade with either a video card or 3d acceleration card
in order to reduce the load on your processor
the best way to see that a game can run on your computer is to check the system requirements of the game

Any decent RTS or FPS games that my system can handle?
yeah so I have:
OS: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) NOTE: in SP3
Processor: Intel (R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @1.60GHz (2CPUs)
Video Card: Intel (R) GMA 950 NOTE: with DirectX 9.0c
Sound Card: NOT SURE
RAM available: 1,013 MB of RAM
HDD available: somewhere around 55GB
Please specify the HDD requirement
yeah.. why so low? im running on laptop.. anyway please don't give me lectures that XP home ain't for gaming.. don't lecture me that laptops ain't for gaming.. please.. haha.. if i had the money to I'd get a better device but i dont so..
CnC 3 works on my current setup, but after 2 mins of a skirmish game it crashes and error reports and what not, and i cant start a campaign at all.. the only thing that works is training XD so please help
i already tried blitzkrieg 2 (works, removed it) Battlefield 1942 (works, removed) Battlefield Vietnam (works) CoD 1 + United Offensive (works awesomely) Red Alert 2, (works, removed) BFME 2 (works, removed) CnC Generals (works sluggishly, removed) As you can see i removed some but still have the CDs and i wont be an idiot and install a whole lot of games
Also if you have any suggestions on how I can improve my system (eg. better drivers, is it possible to increase my processor) I'd appreciate that =) thanksAny decent RTS or FPS games that my system can handle?
Alright, some good games I know of are ; dofus, halo, minecraft etc.
How you could improve your system, well try deleting everything. And then restoring what you need.Any decent RTS or FPS games that my system can handle?
An old(ish) FPS game. Nosferatu. Will run brill on you're system and it's a quite scary, with a grainy effect playstyle.Any decent RTS or FPS games that my system can handle?
Your specs are all great except for your processor.
I assume because you have GMA you're using an integrated chip-set though, which is a complete skullf*ck to upgrade - you might be better off selling your current rig and using the money to subsidize a new one.
CnC 3 was notorously buggy on the initial patches though, check to see if there are any fan-made patches or bugfixes available on the internet.

Battlefield Bad company 2 questions?
So I just had a few questions about battlefield bad company 2
1. how do you get weapon attachments for guns.
i've killed a lot of people with my xm8 but i cant seem to get any attachment
2. i know they are 2 different things but how do u feel engineer vs. assault?
i really want to use engineer but there is so little ammo, and sometimes i feel like im not helpin my squad with the engineer class
3. what is your favorite assault gun?
4. which is the best mode for ranking up
5. are there any medics and engineers (anyone realy, but medics and engineersare preferred) that would like to friend me on xbox live
my gt is
L0S3R B01
(anything that looks like a 'o' is a zero)Battlefield Bad company 2 questions?
1. The only attachments for guns are the scopes and the smoke grenade and shotgun attachment for assault and the spotter scope for recon.
2. My view for both of them is like this: They are both good rushing classes and both have explosive weapons. But the assault guy is more of a support/offensive class and the engineer is the quick objective class, but don't the wrong idea. I've seen guys run as assault and take out tanks and I've seen engineers go guns blazing in a base, load up kills, and are still alive.
3. I like the AN-94
4. Rushing.
5. Sure. I mostly run as a sniper, but I can have fun once in awhile. :D

Is there a program to get better frames when playing games?
I heard about a hack/program that help to get better FPS in games but reduce the visual quality, because my video card is an integrated GPU and I play BFBC2 with like 8 FPS and COD6 with like 10-20FPS... Here are the informations:
Computer: Acer AO521 Premium-Netbook
Video card: ATI Radeon HD 4225
Processor: AMD Athlon 2 Neo K125/ 1.7GHZ
RAM: 2GB DDR3 1066Mhz (1.5 usable)
Memory: 250GB Hard-Drive
Game: Battlefield: Bad company 2 and Call of duty: Modern Warfare 2
Thanks for helping! ;)Is there a program to get better frames when playing games?
Well... First off pick up more ram. That'll do more than any program will. After that, I would suggest looking at Game Booster. This program, when run, disables all non-important things that are running. I've noticed a good 30-40% FPS boost in Borderlands with this active. After that, lower your resolution in game, make sure that it is full screen and not windowed, and make sure your graphics are low.Is there a program to get better frames when playing games?
There may be some program however I have never heard of such a thing existing.
However I can offer you this;
Firstly create a new partition on your PC, assuming you are using Vista or Windows 7 then right click computer, select manage and jump down to disk management. Shrink your largest partition about 30 GB and install your two games on the partition.
Next place your swap file on the same partition.
Right click computer then properties, click advanced system settings then go to the advanced tab then click on the settings button under performance and go to the advanced tab and click the change button under virtual memory. Change the location to your new partition and make the size around 4GB.
ok now right click your taskbar and click task manager.
go to processes and end as many of the processes as you are allowed before playing your games.
For instance you will rarely be attacked during an online game so if your network is secure you don't need HID/HIP software.
After this there is really only the game that can be configured.
Go to the options menu's of the games and select the lowest resolution, bilinear filtering, no AA no HDR or bloom, 16 bit or lower color, lowest draw distance, etc.
This can make the game unplayable and make you a joke for other players but there isn't much you can do.
You're using a laptop for gaming, and not a good one either. Just try and plug it in when you game because a lot of laptops implement CPU throttling at a bios level when using battery.

Old processor and DDR2 ram, you will not like it with Windows 7, it will be slow and 5770 will not help. Mobo is very old too, no upgrades possible.
Get something modern instead, not on ebay:I want to get a gaming computer for games like skyrim and battlefield 3 when they come out, would this be good?
Computer Case : Should be fine
Power Supply Upgrade : Fine
Motherboard : See processor
DDR2 Memory : Enough ram but DDR2 which is old, try getting 4gb of DDR3 instead
Processor : Old processor, only dual core you want to go for something with quad core in this age, go for an i5 or i7 if you can afford

Video Card : Fine, probably the minimum you would want, HD5850 is recommended for Skyrim but not required
Sound Card : Fine most likelyI want to get a gaming computer for games like skyrim and battlefield 3 when they come out, would this be good?
You're probably paying twice as much as if you bought those components separately and assembled them yourself.
I guess you have a monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse already?
All my parts came with warranties so that isn't an issue, and would you rather send one part back than the whole thing if it came to that?
Also, I've heard horror stories about people trying to play games with Windows 7 64 bit.
But to answer your question, it looks fine. I have about the same system and can play anything on its highest settings.

Can my PC Support These Video Games?
Hi. Recently, I have been more interested into PC gaming and I am looking to bolster my gaming library. I wish to buy the games Homefront, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Mass Effect, Crysis (1st one), %26amp; Medal of Honor (2010) but I am worried that my laptop will be unable to handle these games. The laptop I am currently using is the Toshiba Satellite L655. Here are its specs:
Processor 2.1GHz Intel Core i3-2310M
Memory 4GB, 667MHz DDR3
Hard drive 500GB 5,400rpm
Chipset Intel HM65
Graphics Intel HD 3000
Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
Dimensions (WD) 15.0 x 9.8 inches
Height 1.2 - 1.5 inches
Screen size (diagonal) 15.6 inches
System weight / Weight with AC adapter 5.6/6.3 pounds
I have used the site, Can You Run It? to see if which games my laptop can handle, but I have found it to be hard to determine w/, as a lot of games that it had classified as a "fail" (meaning that my laptop CANNOT handle the game) ended up working perfectly on my laptop w/ very minimal lag %26amp; passable graphics (Ex. Combat Arms)
I would really appreciate it if you answered my question, as I am new to PC gaming, and hardly know a thing when it comes to this. Thanks! Can my PC Support These Video Games?
You may be able to run all of them on low settings but Intel cards aren't designed for gaming so don't expect too much performance out of it.Can my PC Support These Video Games?
Good luck getting an answer for this here :/ Ive asked the same sort of question but for Americas Army 3 4 hours ago and still nothing :(

Absolutely NOT. That is an integrated GPU and that processor is outdated when pitted against BF3
Likely no It would likely wouldn't run any modern game the nvidia 6150 is about 5 years old (I think) and even on release was not a very fast graphics card. I would look for a company that specializes in gaming pcs and post another or learn about computer hardware and build one yourself its not as hard as you might think.Would this hp computer run call of duty or battlefield 3?

Battlefield 3: PC or Xbox?
Im torn on which platform I should buy BF3 for, I can only afford one copy. My PC is capable of running it well with 2.1 sound and decent settings plus there are larger maps, more players etc for PC. However I have a 50" 1080p TV with 5.1 sound for the Xbox, which would surely be awesome but it wont compare to PC multi. Any recommendations?Battlefield 3: PC or Xbox?
The big screen is tempting I admit but you would be doing a disservice to the game by playing it on a console. To enjoy BF3 will all it's glory then you must play it on the PC.
Besides, it possible to connect your PC to the TV anyhow, so the question is moot.
invest in what you need to get the PS3 version, so a ps3.
this is my preference. but have you considered that there may be a possibility of connecting computer to the TV. if you can then BEAST MODE achievedBattlefield 3: PC or Xbox?
PC for sure. BF3 has a better graphics on PC, which can really give you a amazing experience.Check its information here and get ready!
PC for sure. Why? Because PC has a lot better quality, higher fps, and its not comfortable to play game such as BF3 on 50" screen, you just would be able to see all the enemies...Battlefield 3: PC or Xbox?
Pc has a generally higher resolution by quite a bit, as well as possible fan based mods and what not that may be applied

Hi,
This computer is pretty good, CPU is very good and though not as fast as some Sandy Bridge processors it's all that is needed for any tasks. 4GB RAM is just enough for everything. ATI 6770 video card may become a bottleneck but not for WOW, it will run on 1920x1080 and high settings without problems. BF3 will run too, but you may fiddle with settings a bit, if you want a better option - GTX 460 or 560, ATI 6850 and up.
You can check computers below just for the prices, also they come overclocked which is a great bonus:

Is it worth trading my current laptop for this one?
So I bought this computer 1.5 years ago and besides having school work, I like to play games. My current video card is getting pretty weak, including for Battlefield 3 coming in 5 months and I bet it won't even let me run on low settings.
So heres my current laptop specs:
15.6 inch screen (1388x780);
Intel dual core T6600 (2.20Ghz)
ATI Mobility Radeon 4650M
This laptop costed 700 euros 1.5 years ago.
Should I now invest on this one?
HP dv6t quad core edition
Intel i7-2630QM Sandy bridge (turbo boost 2.90Ghz)
Same screen
ATI 6770M
Comes already with USB3.0
So, should I invest 1000 euros on this laptop? Is it worth trading my current laptop for this one?
I bought a expensive laptop for school and games, and if i could turn back time i wouldn't do it again. The money i spend on my laptop, would be much better spent on building a decent desktop for gaming. The hardware you can buy for your 1000 euro's will be A LOT better to play games on than in that laptop (just some personal advice ^^).
For whats in the laptop, i guess it's worth the price, but be sure to compare laptops a lot before buying one. HP often (but not always) has a problem with cooling in laptops, but every brand has one or more problems. So keep an eye on other forums and ask lots of questions if you go buy one ^^.
I hope this helped you make up your mind.
Greetings
Tom CoolsIs it worth trading my current laptop for this one?
I recommend highly against HP Laptops. Read about the issues that relate specifically to their DV series notebooks, which have been offered for years as multimedia systems. Each model have incredibly high failure rates; add that to the recall numbers that followed a chipset failure and you'll get the picture that they're highly unreliable.
Check out the reliability survey I source. Toshiba particularly offers high reliability, though their offerings tend toward being lower-performing. Personally, I've used Toshiba laptops eversince I owned Laptops and none of them have failed on me.ginos east characters dragon age

Ditch the E2200. No point forking out money to spend the least on the most vital component
Bought a 6750 on ebay for 80 quid and it hits 3.5 ghz with a freezer 7 stuck over it. Get at least a 6600.
It will bottleneck your 8800gt dramatically. Why the new hard drive?
Don't revert to AMD at the moment, for gaming they can't compete with Core2Duo's and quads.
440 gb huh what are you going to do with that?
lol
sounds great combo thoughBuilding a computer? is it ok?
Your system sounds wicked but I would look into the new AMD quad core. I've heard it surpases the Intel quad core. It is true quad core, versus Intel.
The specs sound great except for one thing; the cpu. I would recommend at least a core 2 duo that is at least 2.6Ghz or higher. The WD HDD is not bad but there are better HDD companies. As for the price, that is great.
Good luck with the rig.Building a computer? is it ok?
you should get a bigger hard drive, there only cheap, i have a terrabite :)
If you from UK. My mate just got a PC built from pcspecialist.co.uk, he had a bit of problem because he used credit but has got it and he is over-the-moon. He opted for 4 Gb but the rest of it the same I think. It is an idea to get the 64bit vista edition if you are running lots of RAM or planning to get more. The power unit you are going for maybe too much but for 拢635 i would be ok with that and you may upgrade which would need the better power supply.
You can always get more RAM, upgrade your CPU to quad and doubleup your graphics card in the future (if need be).
Mate also opted for 22inch widescreen...for games its fantastic he reckons, good for your viewing as you get sucked in from your eyes field of view...and I shouldnt doubt him too much and I nearly got one built from them before him but need to sort out a few things first.
From your desrciption sounds like a pcspecialist PC to me...you wont be disappointed compared to your cuurent system you will be blown away...just dont spend the money unless you have it I would say.
Why not DDR2 6400?

What do you think about Battlefield Bad Company 2?
1: graphics
2: Controls
3:fast paced or slow paced?
4: fun?
5: is online good?
6:good weapons?
My friend said he played this game (limited edition) and he said it's not great. He said especially online, the bullet goes pretty slow and u have to shoot the opponent a little bit in front of them. is that true? maybe because he played the limited edition, do u think? but a LOT of people love this game, so answer my questions plz! What do you think about Battlefield Bad Company 2?
1- Graphics are good... Comparing them too MW2 there a little behind... but almost everything ( from fences, trees and buildings ) are destructible.. .so if you throw that in mind its even... but its still looking good.
2- controls are good ( for me ) but the knifing and grenades are wierd.. you can try diff layouts but there all wierd... and controlling vehicles takes some time...
3- Deffinently more slow paced. There can be alot of times ( depending on map and game ) where you can be almost non stop firing... but its no where near as fast paced as MW2... which to me can be a good thing. Makes it more stealthy for snipes, more about teamwork and calling out stuff
( seeing how you dont have to worry bout people spawning right next to you ) and you wont get nearly as mad... i've maybe yelled once for the 2 months or so that i've had it.. no joke... makes me feel relaxed when playing a shooter ( which is wierd )
4- I say its fun. I enjoy it alot because of alot of reasons. Most which i named above and destructible enviroments, vehicles, and when you have a good team that communicates... its really fun.
5- Yes same as above... but most people dont have/use mics sadly
6- This ones a toughy... it does have good weapons.. .but the good ones you have to earn by unlocking them ( non of the cheap " we'll start everyone with a famas" crap like MW2.. .so the better you get... the more of a tank you feel.
Bullets arent slow ( your friend is just tripping ) but this game does make it more "realistic". Meaning you have to shoot in front of someone running etc, and higher when there further away... I love that... its really more fun ( in my opinion ) when your a sniper. Especially if you every shot one from a good distance, makes you feel like its an actual gun. I say at least rent it for a day or two. I know not every game is for everyone but you should give it a chance. What do you think about Battlefield Bad Company 2?
1.graphics- they are alright, mw2 way better
2.controls- easy
3.fast paced
4.online a lot of players in one match easy kills
5.weapons not the greatest
This game is alright i mean it's more of a cartoon. Modern Warfare 2 way more realistic and actually has good online and guns. Don't get me wrong Battlefield Bad Company 2 is good, it's mainly your preference mine is MW2.

Is Battlefield Bad Company 2 dead on the PC right now?
Im really tired of BF3 ATM just because of
1.) I'm only level 5 but i usually end up on the top of the leader boards.
2.) The maps are a little too big for me. %26lt;----- that said FOR ME
3.) BFBC2 is probably my all time favorite game %26lt;33Is Battlefield Bad Company 2 dead on the PC right now?
I imagine the BC2 servers are emptier due to its traffic being taken to other games released last holiday season but you should definitely be able to find some full games here and there.
Hope it helps. Is Battlefield Bad Company 2 dead on the PC right now?
Hey dude, yeah I would say it's very empty right now. I play it on PC since I just got it for PC (I had it for XBOX before). If you want to play through STEAM, add [THF] Assassin2B. Hopefully we can get in some games and play together then.
On a side note, I was actually looking on the internet to see if people have said is it dead and I stumbled upon this.

Are there still enough people playing Battlefield Bad Company 1 online?
Basically, I'm looking for a shooter game to keep me satisfied until Black Ops is released. And I have a few questions:
1. Are there still enough people playing Battlefield Bad Company 1 online for me to go out and buy it?
2. Is it like bfbc2 where you need to pay to get some updates (VIP code or something)?
3. Are there unlockable weapons as you level up/ rank up?
4. What's the highest rank you can reach?
5. Is there anything you think I should know about this game?
Thanks in advance! Are there still enough people playing Battlefield Bad Company 1 online?
1. Yes, you should easily get in a game.
2. If you buy new you get a code for some DLC, if you buy pre-owned you need to pay a small amount if you want the DLC.
3. Yes.
4. Dunno.
5. Single-players crap. Are there still enough people playing Battlefield Bad Company 1 online?
**** BBC1 and go play COD! :Dmap of united states with cities professor layton

Guys who want battlefield 3 what will you do in this situation?
I'm thinking abou this. if i trade these games in to pay down on bf3 is it possible??? Killzone 2 is worth 5 dollars. Battlefield bad company 1 is 1 dollar. :( Shaun white snowboarding is worth 2 bucks. Mafia 2 is 5 bucks. Modern warfare 2 is worth 7 dollars. Call of duty world at war is worth 5 dollars. Dead rising is worth 9 dollars. And battlefield bad company 2 is worth 9 dollars. I'm guessing thats around 16 bucks to buy battlefield 3 how can i convince my mom to do this?? I'm 15. btw.Guys who want battlefield 3 what will you do in this situation?
tell her that you really want the game and tht you'll promise to pay her back soon as you canGuys who want battlefield 3 what will you do in this situation?
Sell the games on eBay instead of trading them in, on GameStop or wherever you're planning to go. You get much more money if you sell them on eBay :)Guys who want battlefield 3 what will you do in this situation?
im not sure what are you asking here?

What should I upgrade?
Modern Warfare 2 is one of my the most frequently played video games on my desktop computer, and has been since it came out. I also play a lot of Call of Duty 1, 2, 4, 5, CoD1: United Offensive, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Call of Duty 1-5 don't have any framerate problems on my computer, or any problems at all. Bad Company 2, however, and Modern Warfare 2, have massive problems. When I'm not running the game with a framerate of 3 to 8, I'm locking up for about .5 seconds every 1.7 seconds or so, and if I'm not doing either of those, I'm locking up to the point where I have to restart my computer.
I'm running both games with all of the settings low, I've installed tons of antivirus, registry cleanup, drive cleaning, and etc. programs, I've opened up ports, reinstalled both games, cleared up programs I don't need, set the processes to High, closed programs running in the background, etc. to no avail.
My specs will be listed below. I'm on a $100 budget. I plan on upgrading either my RAM, Graphics Card, or Processor. I probably don't have enough money to upgrade my Processor, I've done research and know I can upgrade my graphics card to a 9800 GTX+ for around $100, and I'm pretty sure (haven't looked it up yet, but I'm guessing) I can upgrade my RAM around 2-4 gigs for around $100.
Specs:
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+
RAM: 4 gigabytes of DDR2What should I upgrade?
Your graphics card is alright, and 4gb of ram should be enough.
If i were you I'd save up a little bit and upgrade your processor to an intel i5, or at least an i3.
EDIT: If you're really desperate to update now, update your graphics card to the one you mentioned, just know that you will still have framerate issues, your game will just look better doing it.What should I upgrade?
definitely upgrade the video card. athough with 100 dollar budget it might not be possible. look for ati hd 5770's. those are good cards and will run your games flawlessly.
i have a 9800gtx+ i am looking to sell. i am hoping to get around 70 for it. if you look hard enough u can find that card for 65. maybe even 60 on ebay. mine is the evga card. works great but i upgraded to a gtx 465

Laptop processor speed question?
I've been looking at laptops lately. I want to get one for college, but i will want to play games on it.
I want to know if a 1.5-2.0ghz dual core processor will handle games like battlefield 2 and half life 2.Laptop processor speed question?
You should be warned that a lot of the time, laptop bottlenecks will be GPUs (graphics cards). If you have integrated memory or something, then you'll have trouble running anything.
That being said, Half-Life 2 you should be able to handle if you turn everything visual low or off (reflections, etc.) and you have a decent graphics card.
I can't say anything about Battlefield, though.
You'll want to get 2.0GHz, because 1.5 is honestly quite slow for today's games.

It should do very well on Battlefield 3. The 580s in SLI is probably more than enough and the processor is good for BF3 too, so you shouldn't have any problems running it.
Hey i always wandered if my my was one of gaming capability and the mother linked me to a site that saved me :) follow this link http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyr鈥?/a> you search a game and it takes your pc memory and gaming chip data and tests it in under 60seconds it will give you an accurate response to its gaming capabilities ... so type in a big game or a game you have in mind to play and press go! Hope this helps.
Happy gaming xWould this computer do well for Battlefield 3?
No, it will run it only on the lowest settings. Of course it will max it out you moron. Anyone with basic knowledge of computers will agree with me. You sir are a prime example of someone with more money than brains.
Its offical... there are Systemlabs bots on this site.
The monitor's a little bit big. Thank gawd you picked 2 cards. I would expect to get maximum settings, but I don't know if you'll break 60fps.
Only time will tell.Would this computer do well for Battlefield 3?
Dude
That's far from enough.
As far as I know, it can EASILY run that game on 3 monitors.
Your specs absolutely surpass everything needed.
NOW GO PLAY BATTLEFIELD 3 ON MAX SETTINGS OVER 9000 FPS.
It obviously will.

I would not rate any film as GOOD or BAD. Every technician and actor has worked to the best of their ability, according to the funds available. Yes, If you have to rae, rate the director first - he is the captain of the Ship, and then see whether he has done a good job or not. All films are Good - it is the Captain who can steward it badly.

Depends of the quality of the product, if there all in perfect condition i wouldnt ask more than
$450 or $550 but if they arnt in good condition i wouldn't expect more than $200 dollars.
Also if you include the original box, manual, controller etc. that can potentially add more money. How much would You sell this for?

How would these PC specs run Battlefield 3 on max settings?
The Recommended settings that I found online are as follows:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
RAM: 4GB
Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon 6950.
Graphics card memory: 1 GB
Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card
Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
Now I have the proper OS, and the rest of the specs I have are these:
Processor: AMD Phenom II x6 1100T (3.3Ghz)
Video card: HD Radeon 6870 pci express 2.1 x16
RAM: 8GB
Hard Drive: 1 TB with about 820 GB left
Now I obviously can see some of the specs I already have are overkill to play Battlefield 3, but how will my video card be running? I have it rigged with an HDMI cable to a 23'' monitor 1920x1080 resolution. Any idea on how my machine will be handling the game?
Oh and my sound card is a cheap little Rocketfish 5.1 Pci card. Anyone know if that'll be alright too? I'm not really too concerned about the sound though. How would these PC specs run Battlefield 3 on max settings?
It should play decently. You really don't have overkill on anything there thoughHow would these PC specs run Battlefield 3 on max settings?
Your video card may be a bit weak since the card seems to sell for about 200 or so. I would suggest a Nvidia card since the game is in a way optimized for Nvidia. I have two GTX 580's and I am running the game on the ultra settings with ease. With one you might be able to do so. Even in the forums Battlefeld mentions to run the game on the ultra settings, you need two GTX 580's. That's why I got them lol.dragon origins 2 jet ski

Can this computer run battlefield 3?
Hi i decided to buy i new computer because this i have is so old and slow.
So guys i want to but a new one to play some new games that came out 2011.
And my question that can this computer run the games like : gta iv , battlefield 3 or 2 , black ops or modern warfare.
And here is more details about the computer i want to buy:
windows 7 home premium 64-bitars
Intel庐 Core鈩?i3-2120 3,3 GHz
Intel H61
Ram: SODIMM DDR3 6GB
Harddisk type: SATA 7200 rpm 1000gb
NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 1 gb and High Definition Audio 5.1
Here is the screen:
Monitor supports Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution to vividly show every detail in an image or video clip. The slim LCD W40 Monitor Series is a rational choice for the future. The 70,000:1 Contrast Ratio ensures extremely clear and natural pictures and the energy efficient LCD screen has lower running costs than other monitors. Furthermore, it will provide the optimised environment for any variety of computing activities. Choose the W40 Series for a complete and efficient digital life.
thanks and i hope it doas.
if not can you please say what do i need and thanks. Can this computer run battlefield 3?
It can run it, yes. But the GPU is a bit weak. Not terrible. I think it'll run it low-medium. I haven't used any of the Nvidia GT series since the 9800, but I think you should be fine running it. Consider upgrading it to the GTX 550 Ti.
CPU is a good dual core. Updating the CPU is unnecessary, for now. CoD series games don't utilize four cores, so.
EDIT: I disagree with the people saying purchase a GTX 560. Your prebuilt PC case is pretty tight and a 560 will generate a lot of heat, decreasing the life of your parts. Get a GTS 450, GTX 550 Ti, or as that other fellow suggested a 6700 series GPU.Can this computer run battlefield 3?
I would say most computers can run Battlefield 3 just how well can you run it. Now this computer right here is pretty good in all the field, just not the video card. What I would suggest would be a GTX 560.

Battlefield 2, patch v1.5 questions, PC?
My 2 questions are as follows:
1. Will I be on the "Latest Version" like, is this the latest patch available?
2. Will those maps that they said will now be included free come along with downloading the patch, or will I have to download a whole separate download from the patch in order to get these maps.
No trolls please.Battlefield 2, patch v1.5 questions, PC?
1.50 is the latest patch and contains all the 'free' maps, but you have to install 1.41 first as 1.50 is only an update from 1.41.
If you want the Special Forces maps you need to buy the expansion or the bf2 complete collection (there probably the same price).

If you want the Special Forces maps you need to buy the expansion or the bf2 complete collection (there probably the same price).
How does battlefield 2142 run on a black macbook?
I want to buy battlefield 2142 but I have heard al kinds of things about the game not running well or not running at all. I looked on the website and these are the system requirements:
Mac OS X version 10.4.9
Intel Core Duo processor or higher
512MB of RAM (1GB recommended)
ATI X1600, NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, or higher video card (Intel GMA950 chipset not supported)
The black macbooks have
leopard (mac OSX 10.5.1)
2.4 GHz intel core 2 duo processor
2 GB of RAM
Intel GMA X3100 graphics processor
Looks like everything is fine but is the graphics processor good enough? How does battlefield 2142 run on a black macbook?
If you want to play BF2142, trust me and get a Macbook Pro. The graphic card on the Macbook is not that good. And the black macbook costs almost like the basic MBP.

Hows my gaming rig add up scale from 1-10?
amd athlon 64 x2 5200+ 4mb L2 cashe
ultra aluminus full tower computer case
EVGA 8800 GTS 640 oc
3 gigs ram gskill (i wanna say the timing is 3-3-5-12)
light on dvd drive
sound blaster live 5.1 sound card
WD 160gb HD SATA
800 watt ultra x-pro
wireless networt card
some new things on my to do list would be another 160 gb hard drive a better sound card. I also know I could use 1...or 2 dvd burners...but thats not a necessity.A new MoBo that supports SLI and of course the most important thing another 8800!
my vista score is a 5.2 because of my processor...I was quite dissapointed until I realised that the score only went to a 7 and the rest of everything was in the high 5's low 6's
oh and if anyone plays battlefield 2142 hit me up sometime im only about half way ranked but always looking for people to play with (navman88),Hows my gaming rig add up scale from 1-10?
I'll give you a 9 because there's still room for improvement.
1. Put a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme and OC your processor.
2. Consider a WD Raptor HDD.
3. Don't listen to critics of your large PSU. It is efficient, should run very cool and last long w/ your load, and gives you plenty of elbow room for awesome upgrades. A review is here:

did you post this to show off? haha just kidding
its a 9, the processor could be a bit better
im getting a quad core. (probably)..lol QC FTWHows my gaming rig add up scale from 1-10?
I think you have a gaming rig at about level 5. My vista score is 5.4 and I'm not even a gamer. I don't put much stock in the vista score myself. In fact, you can manipulate that score pretty easily.
AT YOUR OWN RISK
Navigate to C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore\鈥?xx.xx.xx.xxx Assessment.WinSAT.xml.
Open it with notepad. Approximately one 'paragraph' down, you will see listings between the 'winspr' tags.
These listings include 'system score', 'memoryscore', 'cpuscore', 'cpusubaggscore', 'videoencodescore', 'graphicsscore', 'gamingscore', and 'diskscore'.
Simply change the value that appears between the opening and closing tags.
Changing your graphics score to be over 3.0 allows you to have themes for the photo screensaver.
You won't be able to "Save As" with notepad so create the file in another directory then overwrite the original.
REMBER: Make a BACKUP copy of the original "Assessment.WinSAT.xml" before you overwrite it.
In any case you might try to find something good (like prime) to really torture test your rig. You also might try a slight overclock to improve your performance. Skip the 160 GB drive and get a couple of fast 250-500 GB drives and set them up in a RAID stripe if you are able. This will go far in speeding up your system
no dual graphic cards... useless 800watt power supply (you dont have enough crap to be using 800 watter) only 3gb ram when you could be using 4gb dual channel ram, only 1 rom drive, sound blaster kicks ***, whats the cache on the sata and is it a 150 or 300? that one is iffy on if its good or not. Your using an amd processor which is ok... i would have went for a dual core intel, or quad core intel. In my book, i would go with a 7.5 but my max would be an 8Hows my gaming rig add up scale from 1-10?
okay..... i have no idea about AMD but heck I wish I could have a computer like yours. well compared to what you could have (even though it's over kill and way expensive) like a quad cpu dual 8800GTX ultra's 8GB of RAM 2 terabytes of HDD and a blue-ray drive it's a 4/10 but hell I wouldn't rate anything compared to that system. I would have to say not compared to the best system that noone has , lol, it's a 9/10.... what's up with the 3GB of RAM though? Is it dual channel? Are all the sticks the same? lol. Yeah the HDD seems a little small but you said you'd upgrade that, lol... I need a new HDD too. The GPU is killer, bet you get some nice 3dMark scores huh? oh and my BF2142 name is steelspartan0 (the reason it's not stealspartan is because I had some.... problems with my account key and i had to make a whole new account and register so I could change the acount key) lol, hit me up, I'm no that good though maybe you could give me some pointers? :)

Can I run Battlefield 3?
I'm planning on getting hold of these parts for a new computer soon,
Mostly i'm looking forward to playing Battlefield 3, will these parts allow me to do so?
And if so, what level can I play it at? (Low, medium, High?)
Thanks!

It should run on high settings perfectly. Your video card is exactly the one that is recommended in the system requirements. Your processor is very good and you should not worry about it. I would buy just a little bit more ram. Maybe 6gb or 8gb... but that's just me.Can I run Battlefield 3?
I would definitely say yes. You may not be able to run at the highest setting without a second card and cross fire, but it sounds like a fine setup. Can I run Battlefield 3?

You are much better off dropping that down to a higher clocked X4 such as the 955/965 BE and getting a Nvidia 560 GTX Ti card instead

It looks like it'd work, but drop down to an X4 and get a a 550 Ti or a GTX560 minimum.

No. Your computer WOULD run it, if not for the graphics card. Your graphics card is only 128MB; you need at least a 256MB graphics card to run it.
If that computer is a laptop (and it looks like it), then you're out of luck. However, if it's a desktop, you could buy and install a new graphics card that could run it for cheap. Can I play Battlefield Bad Company 2 with these specs?

Battlefield 2 online: i cant seem to kill 4 enemy's with 1 assault rifle clip any tips?
ok i need 1 medal to go up 2 ranks but i seem to use half of my assault rifle bullets when killing 1 person (with direct hits) making it impossible to kill 4 people with one clip =(
if you think any other medals would be easier please tell me,
i already have the sniper rifle medal and the 5 kills without dying one.

256 MB of system RAM
64 MB video card with support for hardware transformation and lighting requires
Battlefield Vietnam
Pentium庐 III 933 MHz processor

Pentium 1.5 GHz
256 MB RAM
Radeon 8000/GeForce 4Ti 64 MB video card
DirectX compatible sound cardWhich ones of these games will work with my computer?
Try this link...
basically it tests your system and let's you know if your hardware is compatible. Your integrated 845GL graphics controller may prevent you from playing these games but you may be able to play them at the minimum settings. Extra RAM would make the experience better also. Try Newegg for some of the lowest prices for ram and video cards if you decide to upgrade.Which ones of these games will work with my computer?
Glad I could help.

Honestly, BF2 is pretty old. I'm sure the Intel integrated 4500HD can handle it, since my old integrated graphics chip did.
Based on the configurations(if you don't change anything), the XPS will get you further. The 9600GT is faster, but then the T5800 will limit you in other tasks. T8100+8600GT is a good pair, as it'll run fast for a few more years.
Both laptops can be expanded to 8GB.
