Why wont Battlefield 2 patch 1.5 work?

I downloaded bf2 patch 1.5 and it seemed to work fine until I joined a game, the mouse freezes up and I cant click but I can still hear the game going on in the background but I cant get out of the "choose a class" screen. PLEASE HELP!!!Why wont Battlefield 2 patch 1.5 work?

and there is still 1.41 patch????? From where you have downloaded this patch??? Is it incremental or full patch??? I've just played 3 hours ago and all the official servers were still at 1.41???

In such cases, always rely on the publisher's official site. Some ill tempered pll may embed some scripts designed to access your Crucial infos into ( in this case regular 1.41 ) patch and declare it as the most recent update. Operating system secures your PC by asking permission if a program needs access to your system files ( By asking "Do you accept installation of this .... whatever"). Since there are some codes inside patches stating the total size of the file, if you add additional codes, it would not work. So, they have to remove someother section of patch to put his Trojan codes without changing the total file size. And this would lead instabilities of program, such as the things you have been encountering with by now.Why wont Battlefield 2 patch 1.5 work?
Go into options controls and press set controls to default button.Why wont Battlefield 2 patch 1.5 work?
I'd say that's your computer's fault.

Restart it and try again.
