How do i get battlefield 2 bad company to run?

Hi i recently downloaded battlefield bad company 2 onto my acer aspire 6920 (vista) and it goes perfectly to the start up menu so i click on campaign it goes through the whole intro. Then it freezes at "And here is what really happened that day" or something like that. Then it goes retarded and crashes and leaves me with the ea games download thing. Please help my specs are.
