nope, afraid not, you need to upgrade your graphics card as it is over 4 generations older than the current top of the line one. The cheapest card that can run Battlefield 2 is probably a 6600GT and considering you have an AGP port (since you have a GeForce MX which must be in AGP) The 6600GT is a very good card that can run most games at medium although it is starting to slow behind the current top of the line games.Can Battlefield 2 run on this computer?

No, it will not run... Here are the system requirements for Battlefield 2 linked below. Your video card is too far below spec.
If your computer has an AGP or PCI-E slot, you could upgrade to an inexpensive card like a GeForce 7300GT and it would run, just not very well. Your 1.5Ghz AMD processor is ok, since it's considerably faster than a 1.5Ghz Pentium 4.
For a game like that, it's a waste of time trying to play a system which barely meets the minimum spec. Gameplay would be very slow and unsatisfying.
